Mayonnaise packaging redesign
In February 2011 "Moscow Provencal" range of mayonnaise producer decided to change its packaging design. The purpose of packaging redesign was to modernize brand total look.
To make the packaging more modern, and at the same time to maintain the inherent "Moscow Provencal" style of "mayonnaise with tradition and history."
Within redesign project the font and composition solution were changed, but all the key elements on which the consumer identifies a product with were saved. As a result of font solution change the product name became more prominent, stylish and readable. Fonts are designed in the 70s style. Blue die at the top of the pack became larger that allowed to assign blue color as one of the key brand identifiers . Moscow skyscraper building image appeared in brand logo, which emphasizes the metropolitan origin of the product. Images of products at the bottom of the package, which is differentiated range of tastes, became larger and more appetizing. At the same time, the basic elements by means of which the consumer learns the product stayed in a new package: the core colors (blue and light yellow) and producing company logo.
